Valentines Mini Session

Lately, with my family photography company, I’ve been doing themed Mini Sessions! This month I did a Valentines themed shoot and ended up with a ton of cute photos! On top of my Valentines pictures that day, I was lucky enough to take some maternity photos as well as newborn photos! Overall it was a great day and I had so much fun with these pictures!!

A couple months ago I set up a contest on the facebook page that I have set up for my family photography business currently named Amabilis Photography. First person to notice that the page had reached 50 likes won a 1 hour photo session with yours truly! The winner of the contest was Danielle Pengelly. We did the photo session last weekend and here are a few of many beautiful photographs!

Lee Fields & The Expressions

Saturday, September 1st at Fortune Sound Club in downtown Vancouver was host to some amazing musicians! Soul singer Lee Fields and his band, The Expressions, played a show that I can honestly say is one of my favourite live shows to date! Lee Fields has been making music since the 60s and is now releasing some of his best music thus far. His stage presence was unbelievable and I am feel honored to have been lucky enough to photograph the set that Saturday. Here are my favourite shots from the evening.

New Brunswick Part 1: Hopewell Rocks

This summer I got the chance to visit my best friend (from high school), and her family in New Brunswick! I was there from August 7th until August 17th, and truth be told, I wish I was still there! Not only did I love to spend time with my beautiful godchildren and my friend, but I was also amazed at how beautiful the province was! In this post I have posted pictures of the day we visited Hopewell Rocks: The Highest Tide in the World! It was an amazing experience and I am so thankful to my friends for taking me. Here are some photos of the rocks and some photos of my godchildren as well. Enjoy the first of many New Brunswick related posts!

After taking photos at the Rare Disease Foundation Family Picnic, I took the opportunity to walk around the Burnaby Village Museum and take a few personal photos. Here are the colour and black&white copies of a few. I couldn’t decide which ones I liked best!

On July 22nd, I had the honor of taking photographs at the Rare Disease Foundation’s 4th Annual Family Picnic. This year the picnic took place at the Burnaby Village Museum, and although the weather was less than cooperative, this community didn’t let the clouds and rain get their spirits down! There was a BBQ, face painting, carousel rides, games and even some incredibly talented balloon-twisting clown! It was so much fun to be part of this day!

Day at the Zoo

The Harpoonist & the Axe Murderer

The Harpoonist & the Axe Murderer are an amazing Canadian band that (in my personal opinion) have created some incredibly noteworthy modern day blues. They are one of twenty bands competing as part of the Peak Performance Project.
